    • Description :
      A very common damselfly and very easy to identify. Its bluish-green thorax and orange-black-orange abdomen are distinctive. Females are similar to males in appearance. The adults are fierce predators capable of tackling preys larger than themselves.

      Any open habitats with a good vegetated pond are suitable for this species. Parks where there is a healthy population include Bishan Park 1 and Kent Ridge Park.
