    • Description :
      Males of this species are light blue in colour with black abdomen tip. Female is brown with black markings. It can be confused with another species, Brachydiplax chalybea.

      Distribution :
      This dragonfly is not very common in park ponds. They like ponds that are well vegetated and surrounded by tall mature trees. Parks where this species can be found in good numbers are Kent Ridge and Bukit Batok Nature Park.
