  • Description
    • Description :
      Rufous plumage and yellowish legs. In flight, appears uniformly dark rufous. In male, upperparts rufous and underparts paler. In female, upperparts browner with buffy spots and underparts paler with dark brown streaks. The juvenile's upperparts are duller and darker than the female, dense buff speckles on upperparts and upperwing coverts, with darker streaks below and slightly duller and darker wings.

    • Ecological Notes :
      Nests all year round, in a sturdy platform in canopies, tall grass or bushes. Clutches contain 3-5 white or blue-tinged eggs.
