    • Size :
      12 cm
      Description :
      Round shape, with a short snout and about 8 narrow black bars along the side, with the first one passing through the eye, and the last one along the rear of the dorsal fin, through caudal fin (tail) to anal fin. One black stripe along the top of the snout and head.
  • Ecology, Habitat & Location
    • Ecological Notes :
      Usually found in pairs; juveniles usually found hiding in Acropora corals. This species is an obligate corallivore.
      Habitats :
      Coral Reef, Marine
      Distribution :
      From Sri Lanka to the Solomon Islands. North to Ryukyu Islands, south to the Great Barrier Reef.
