    • Description :
      Head relatively small, hind limbs relatively long and slender. Back dark brown, paler towards the sides; sides blackish; top of the head between the eyes and snout yellowish brown, hind limbs with blackish bands. An oblique yellowish streak behind the eyes. Vent opening in the centre of a large black spot. Tadpoles (about 1.5 cm) have upturned lips that are directed towards the water surface to feed on floating organic particles. Their tail tips are drawn into a thin filament.
