    • Description :
      The males are unmistakable bluish with dark bands on the thorax. Females are generally pale olive in colour with thin streaks of blue on the thorax.

    • Ecological Notes :
      This distinctive blue damselfly is highly adaptable and common in ponds and drains. It is usually seen perched just on vegetation/twigs or flying just above the water surface. Large numbers of this damselfly occurs at Bishan Park 1 and West Coast Park pond.
