    • Plant Morphology :
      Growth Form: Succulent shrub or subshrub which forms clumps.
      Foliage: Greenish white to light green leaves have dark green coloration along the midvein which spreads to varying lengths into the leaf blade. Slightly folded leaf blade and strongly wavy leaf margin create a curly appearance.
      Stems: Greyish green, round stem is smooth, glossy and bent in a zigzag shape.
      Flowers: Red, bird-shaped 'flowers' are actually 2-lipped bracts which enclose the real flowers which are scarlet-coloured and tiny.
      Fruits: Small fruits are known as capsules.
      Cultivation :
      This cultivar requires full sun to flower and rarely blooms indoors. Prune to prevent plants from becoming leggy.
