      Growth Form: Epiphytic cactus with a trailing growth habit, reaching up to 0.5-1 m long.
      Foliage: This species does not produce foliage. The leaf-like structures are actually modified stems.
      Stems: Flattened, winged stems have a scalloped edge. They are purplish red to green.
      Flowers: Small, white flowers are star-shaped.
      Fruits: White, round berries line the stem margins at regular intervals.
      Cultivation :
      This plant requires semi-shade and high humidity to grow. 
      Etymology :
      The genus Pseudorhipsalis means false and Wickerwork-like, which refers to the slender twining stems.
      The specific epithet ramulosa means very twiggy, which refer  to the stem.
