    • Plant Morphology :
      Growth Form: A lihophytic or terrestrial herb. 
      Foliage: The leaves are arranged alternately, narrowly elliptic and are up to 7cm long and glabrous. 
      Flowers: The flowers are borne on an erect, terminal 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence and are produced in succession. The flower is orange-red in colour and can grow up to 6cm wide. The sepals and petals are sparsely pubescent. The ovoid flower lip is inflated and has translucent segments on each side. 
      Habitat :
      It can be found growing at altitudes of 1100 to 1500m.  
      Cultivation :
      It is best grown in areas with high humidity with growing medium that is moisture-retaining such as sphagnum moss.
