    • Plant Morphology :
      Growth Form: An aquatic perennial fern with a creeping growth form.
      Foliage: The  fronds are held on long, erect stipes (stalks). When growing on land, the fronds remain erect, but float when the plants are growing immersed. The fronds consist of 2 pairs of pinnae (leaflets) to form a four leaf clover pattern. The frond and stipes are covered with a dense layer of hair. 
      Reproductive Parts (non-flowering plant): The spores are held in a capsule which originates from the rhizome.
      Cultivation :
      It can be grown under full sun or semi-shade and can be grown in consistently moist loamy soils.
