    • Plant Morphology :
      Growth Form: It is a climber.
      Foliage: Its stalked leaves have blades that are egg-shaped to broadly egg-shaped, and 6–13 by 6–10 cm.
      Flowers: Its male flowers have 3 outer sepals that are triangular-drop-shaped and 0.8 mm long. Its 3 inner sepals are broadly oval and 1.5–2 mm long, while its 6 petals are oblong and 1 mm long.
      Fruits: Its dry fruits are orange-yellow and 3.5–4.5 by 1.5–2 cm.
      Habitat :
      It grows in lowland forests.
      Etymology :
      Greek teino, to stretch like a bow; Greek spora, seed, referring to its curved seeds; Greek makros, large; Greek karpa, fruit, referring to the large fruits of this species
