    • Plant Morphology :
      Growth Form: A shrub to a tree, growing to 7 m tall (sometimes up to 15 m tall).  
      Foliage: Broad to narrowly elliptic leaf blades, fleshy and glossy, with cuneate base and acute to retuse apex. Leaves are arranged oppositely along the stems.
      Stems: Stems are sparsely pubescent (hairy).
      Flowers: Flowers are borne in loose clusters (panicle-like), greenish in colour.
      Fruits: Drupe, bright red when matures and becomes ribbed when dries.
      Habitat :
      Found in coastal rocks, limestone rocks, and dry to moist areas.
