    • Description :
      It has pale blue thorax with small dark markings. The eyes are entirely blue. Unlike other damselflies, this species perch with the wings open.

    • Ecological Notes :
      Quite localised in its distribution due to its preferred habitats of swamps and marshes.
      Habitats :
      Forest, Freshwater, Freshwater Swamp Forest, Aquatic
      Distribution :
      It occurs in good numbers at S’pore Quarry and MacRitchie Reservoir. Recorded from Murai Reservoir, Poyan Reservoir, Pulau Tekong, Pulau Ubin, Sarimbun Reservoir, Tuas, Turut Track and Upper Seletar Reservoir. Found in tropical Asia and New Guinea.
