    • Description :
      Body covered in shiny strongly keeled, overlapping scales; symmetrical arrangement of large scales on top of the head. Body olive brown above with a series of irregular and narrow black bands and white spots. Hatchlings with black and yellowish bands over the back, and tail yellow with narrow black bands.

    • Ecological Notes :
      Diurnal and arboreal. Feeds on small invertebrates. Gives birth to live young.

      Occurs in the Central Nature Reserves. First recorded in Singapore in 1998.
